NEW! Celebrations Sampler Quilt
The “Celebrations” block series, featuring 12 different block designs — all sewn using the foundation paper piecing method — is an commemorative quilt project marking the fifth anniversary of my small but fine quilt design label, Pasacana. Each design tells a personal story and was inspired by my journeys; they hold memories of extraordinary places and wonderful encounters with fascinating people.
All designs from the series will be released throughout 2026 as a “Block of the Month” project (but always two per month…!) — each as an individual digital download pattern featuring all templates at 100% actual size and detailed, illustrated piecing instructions. All block patterns will be available in my Pasacana Pattern Shop.

Fabric Requirements for the Celebrations Sampler Quilt:
If you want to make the complete “Celebrations” anniversary sampler quilt, you’ll need more than just a few scraps…;o) However, with such a large-scale foundation paper piecing project, it is difficult to estimate the exact amount of fabric needed. Therefore, the quantities given are only a rough guide. It is generally recommended to calculate the amount of fabric needed a bit more generously. The calculation is based on a usable fabric width of 40″–42″.
The entire Celebrations Sampler Quilt, including 3″ wide sashings between the blocks and a 3″ wide border, measures approximately 57″ x 75″ (approx. 1.45 m x 1.90 m).
